Great locations and resort

This is the end of the world! The resort is… located on the river right in front of a huge rock mountain… actually, you don’t have to enter the costly National Park anymore, just walk through the resort… Many different houses, bungalows, tree houses etc… whatever you like – they are all wonderful, romantic, nature-oriented.

The location is fantastic, we stayed in Thai House which is almost on the river and had the most beautiful cliff face view. The house was simple but very clean and… the entire staff made you feel completely at home. Thanks Our Jungle House, see you again very soon.

Two wonderful nights & Rafflesia in full bloom!

Posted on: November 4th, 2011 by bodhi

We were there for two nights. It was perfect. What strikes me was how careful everything is done. The lights shine on the ground in the night, so that you find your way to your tree house, but they do not pollute the night sky! We stayed in a variety of places and types of accommodation in Thailand and this was our favourite – beautiful rustic accommodation and lovely staff… the bathrooms are open at the top so you shower with a view of the jungle – fantastic! We did a night safari and saw loads… mouse deer, porcupine, loris, owls.

Impressive, had a great time

AirAsia is so cheap and makes Khao Sok so accessible; check it out… the food was very good and priced the same as places in the village. Khao Sok is worth at least 3 nights stay, and don’t miss one night on the amazing lake – incredible scenery and wildlife.

khao sokMalaysian Nature Society
at Khao Sok, March 25-28

A group of professional scientists, naturalists and nature lovers recently visited Our Jungle House and saw some amazing wildlife on the lake. The Society (MNS) is the oldest and largest environmental NGO in Malaysia. Among other accomplishments, MNS succeeded in getting a large are of lowland rainforest declared a national park. However, until now, there has been little inter-action between them and Thai naturalists.
