Fishing Trip to Cheow Lan (Chiew Larn)

Head out to the lake, and hop aboard a long-tail boat  for some freshwater fishing.

With it’s placid waters and wide variety of fish, Cheow Larn lake is an enjoyable getaway for the experienced and aspiring fisherman alike . The trees submerged in the lake are ideal habitat for large fish populations.  Common species include jungle perch, mahseer, river catfish, and three types of snakehead fish – the giant, the striped, and the rare cobra snakehead.
