Travelling to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok
Planning to visit Khao Sok in August, September or October 2021
With the "New Normal" of an ever-changing travel environment, we would like to provide you with reliable information and guidance on traveling domestically or internationally to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok.
For domestic visitors, travel restrictions and recommendations are beginning to ease.
Nonetheless, all visitors to Khao Sok are required to provide:
• a negative Covid Test result (acquired not longer than 72 hours before entering the park).
• or proof of being fully vaccinated, printed document or picture on your phone.
Our Jungle House can help you arrange for the rapid test required for entering the park or embarking on an exciting Cheow Lan Lake adventure. The test will be done at the local hospitals with a fee of THB 600 per test. Guests can pay this fee via us if you don’t have any local bank account as they only accept money transferring via local bank account.
Our Jungle House is SHA Certified and compliant with the advised D-M-H-T-T-A precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. (D – Distancing, M – Mask wearing, H – Handwashing, T – Temperature check, T – Testing for COVID-19, and A – alert application.)
Our accommodation is set up in line with the current practice, socially distanced, open-aired amidst the pristine surroundings of Khao Sok National Park. We believe that our resort can offer health benefits for all visitors. Phuket’s Sandbox and your way into the pristine nature of Khao Sok National Park
The quiet and beautiful landscape Khao Sok has always been the place for tourists to stop when exploring the southern part of Thailand. With international visitors returning for exciting holidays in Thailand via the Sandbox scheme, we would like to provide an update on travel requirements to help you plan your trip to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok and Cheow Lan Lake.
Arrival for International Guests, currently (1st of September,2021) is possible after successfully concluding your 14 days “Phuket Sandbox” stay or through the newly confirmed Phuket Sandbox 7+7 Extension program. The extension program offers a 7 day stay in Phuket in combination with additional 7 days in a SHA+ certified hotel in Khao Lak, Koh Yao (Yai or Noi) Island in Phang Nga Bay, Krabi, or the Samui Plus program (Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, or Ko Tao). Before departing from Phuket to your onwards destination, travelers must obtain a transfer form from their Sandbox Hotels, which will verify the concluded stay in Phuket as well as the conducted negative COVID-19 test results. Transfers are only available via approved modes of transport and via sealed routes, best organized through your booked accommodations.
Once you concluded your 14 Night Stay either through the Phuket Sandbox or the 7+7 extension in Krabi, Phang Nga, or Surat Thani, you will be able to continue your journey to Khao Sok. Our Jungle House offers specially reduced transfer rates from all Phuket Sandbox 7+7 Extension destinations, travel times range from 1 hour from Khao Lak to 2.5 – 3.0 hours from Don Sak Ferry Pier or Phuket.
