Travelling to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok
Planning to visit Khao Sok in October, November or December 2021
With the "New Normal" of an ever-changing travel environment, we would like to provide you with reliable information and guidance on traveling domestically or internationally to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok.
For domestic visitors, travel restrictions and recommendations have eased.
Nonetheless, all visitors to Khao Sok National Park are required to provide:
• a negative Covid Test result (acquired not longer than 72 hours before entering the park).
• or proof of being fully vaccinated, printed document or picture on your phone.
Our Jungle House can help you arrange for the rapid test required for entering the park or embarking on an exciting Cheow Lan Lake adventure. The test will be done at the local hospitals with a fee of THB 600 per test or directly at Cheow Lan Lake Pier for THB 200.
Our Jungle House is SHA Certified and compliant with the advised D-M-H-T-T-A precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. (D – Distancing, M – Mask wearing, H – Handwashing, T – Temperature check, T – Testing for COVID-19, and A – alert application.). Since October 14th all of our staff is fully vaccinated and we are currently in the process of obtaining SHA+ Certification.
Our accommodation is set up in line with the current practice, socially distanced, open-aired amidst the pristine surroundings of Khao Sok National Park. We believe that our resort can offer health benefits for all visitors. Despite the ongoing hurdles, we are hoping for a broader easing of restrictions by the 1st and 15th of September, which is supported by domestic airlines re-announcing domestic flights as well as offering heavily discounted promotion rates, via AirAsia, Nok Air, and VietJet.You can find more of the announcement from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) here.
Entering & Exiting Phuket (From 16th of October 2021) – Domestic Travel
|Domestic Visitors / Travellers to Phuket via land, pier or airport arrival, must comply to one of the following requirements:|
1.) Fully Vaccinated for at least 14 days (2 Shots of Sinovac, Sinopharm, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik V or 1 Shot of Johnson and Johnson)
2.) Or tested within 7 days for Covid-19, (RT-PCR or Antigen Test) with a confirmed negative result from a medical facility or laboratory, not older than 7 days prior to arrival.
3.) Or children under 18 years, who received 1 dose of Pfizer, 14 days prior to arrival.
4.) Or fully recovered from Covid 19 – No longer than 90 Days
Everyone entering Phuket must download and register via the MorChana application and www.gophuget.com.
Children under 6 years of age traveling with their parents or guardians are exempted.

Breaking News from Thailand and Our Jungle Resorts in Khao Sok this week (Tuesday 12th of October 2021), The country’s Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, has announced quarantine free arrival to the Kingdom of Thailand by air from at least 10 countries, to be confirmed by the CCSA, but expected to be coming into effect from November 1st, 2021 onwards.
Foreign arrivals will only need to provide a negative result of an RT-PCR test from their home country as well as conduct an additional test upon arrival in Thailand. After providing the two required negative results, international visitors are expected to be able to travel throughout Thailand under the by provinces erected regulations.
The to-date announced list comprises only the following 5 low-risk departure countries of Singapore, Germany, China, the UK and the USA, with additional countries to be added later in November 2021.
To be on the safe side, travelers are advised to wait for the official announcement of the changes in quarantine rules to be published by the Royal Gazette or for the official news release issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in later October 2021.
