We collect a deposit to confirm your reservation. The specific deposit amount depends on the booked services.

A deposit of 1,000 THB per room booking is required, for long stay bookings with more than 3 nights, a daily 1,000 /500 THB deposit applies per Treehouse / Bungalow booked.
Inbound Transfers and Private Basic Tour arrangements (Overnight Camping, Birdwatching, Private - Full Day and Overnight Lake Tours) require an additional 1,000 THB deposit per vehicle / person.
All Private Superior, Deluxe and Wildlife Explorer Lake Tours require a 50% deposit payment.
Walk-In and on Arrival Tours will require full payment to confirm the arrangement .

The deposit can be made with any major credit card, bank transfer or via PayPal.

Check-in is at 14:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am

Our Jungle House operating hours are from 7:30am to 8:30pm. If you plan to arrive after 8:30pm, please inform us upon reservation, or call us in advance to notify us on your arrival time.

Unfortunately, we do not include breakfast as part of our room package because we would like to avoid food wastage from a buffet setup. Our restaurant offers different styles of breakfast with prices ranging from THB 80 to THB 200.

Our on-site Restaurant at Our Jungle House offers à la carte service for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner from 07:30am until 08:30pm. Our local chefs are preparing Thai and Western-influenced dishes with fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Coffee, Tea and Snacks are served throughout the day, and evenings can be spent at Our Jungle Bar with a refreshing Cocktail or Mocktail until late.

Upon checking out, please pay the balance of your expenses with cash. We apologize if our cash-only policy is inconvenient to our guests. However, Khao Sok is a cash-based community, meaning all services paid to the locals, for example, our guides, food providers, drivers, and etc. are in the form of cash. And since the nearest bank is an hour’s drive away, it makes sense to implement the cash-only policy.

In the case where you need to pay us via PayPal or credit card or via internet banking, a 4% handling fee is imposed.

Room and activity prices shown on the website DO NOT include the 7% VAT government tax. All food, drinks, tours, and accommodation are subjected to an additional 7% government VAT tax which will be added to your bill upon check out.

We have a gravel, uncovered parking area located before the reception area. Upon arrival, please drive to the reception area to unload your luggages and check in.

We are located 900 meters from the Khao Sok Town. It is walkable and takes approximately 15 - 20 min depending on your walking pace.

Most of our tours and activities can be booked upon arrival. However, for Overnight Cheow Lan Lake tours, bird-watching and Khao Sok Jungle Camping trips, you are advised to make the bookings in advance to enable us to arrange for guides and to deal with logistics.

The youngest guests we have had on Overnight Lake Trips have been 2 to 3 years old but we usually recommend Full Day Trips for families with younger children or Private Overnight Trips for families. We have life jackets specifically for children available at Our Jungle House´s reception, please request them one day prior to your Cheow Lan lake departure.

The easiest and most convenient way from/to Bangkok to Khao Sok is either fly to Surat Thani Airport or take the train to Phunpin Station, you can find detailed travel instructions on our Getting to Khao Sok page.

Surat Thani Airport is the closest airport to Our Jungle House in Khao Sok, However, you can also check flight options for Krabi International Airport. The journey from Krabi to Khao Sok is only about 30 minutes longer than the Surat Thani-Khao Sok journey. But Krabi has more connecting flight options, which may better suit your travel plans.

All ferries to Koh Tao, Koh Samui or Koh Phang Ngan leave Surat Thani at or before 16:00. The only way to get to the Surat Thani piers on time is to use our private transfer. We will bring your luggage with us when we pick you up from the Cheow Lan lake pier to go directly to Surat Thani. Please book this transfer with our reception/tour desk at least one day before your trip.

Private transfers can be arranged at any time convenient to your travel plans.

Yes, we can provide a baby seat or child seat. Please let us know the age of your child at the time of booking if you require a baby or child seat.

Yes, we can arrange a pick-up from anywhere in Southern Thailand to Our Jungle House. You can find detailed travel instructions on our Getting to Khao Sok page.

Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange a pick-up from the Khao Sok bus stop. However, there is a taxi service available from the bus stop to Our Jungle House. The taxi fare ranges from THB50 to 80 per person.

Unfortunately, we do not have reliable information on the public bus schedule. However, we can help arrange a private transfer to Khao Sok from your location.

As of the 1st of May, 2022, the majority of entry requirements have been lifted. International travellers who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to show proof of a pre-arrival
negative RT-PCR test nor undergo an arrival test. However travellers are still required to register for a Thailand Pass (via https://tp.consular.go.th/).

Once you have arrived in the Kingdom of Thailand, you are allowed to travel freely to any part of the country.
