Khao Sok can be reached from all major airports with a short transfer. The closest airports, distances and drive times are as follows:

Driving or Motorbiking to Khao Sok
For guests who prefer a self-drive trip to Our Jungle House and Khao Sok National Park, the roads are well maintained and the directions are easy to follow. You can key in our GPS coordinates: GPS: 8.9105, 98.5310 (+8° 54′ 37.8″, +98° 31′ 51.6″)
Note: Please be aware that during the rainy season, the gravel road connecting Our Jungle House and Khao Sok Town can become very muddy in patches which makes it challenging for small-capacity motorcycles to travel on.
At OJH, we have a gravel- and grass-parking area, both uncovered, located beside the reception area.
Khao Sok Town
hao Sok is a small, laid-back town with one main road running through it. Situated about 1.8km from the bus station on Highway 401, the town has a number of resorts, restaurants, minimarts, coffee shops and residential houses. A nice change of pace from the touristy beaches, Khao Sok is easily accessible from Phuket, Krabi and the islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phang Ngan.
Getting from Bangkok to Khao Sok
If you’re flying from Bangkok, there are three airport options to get to Khao Sok. The closest airport to Khao Sok is Surat Thani, followed by Krabi and Phuket.Full Details
Getting from Phuket to Khao Sok
With the most international flight connections, Phuket International Airport has direct flights to 49 destinations in 17 countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Finland, Germany, Norway, China, Russia, Australia and Middle East. At present, there are 9 domestic flights to Phuket from other parts of Thailand such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Udon Thani and Bangkok.
There are multiple driving and public transport options from Phuket. Private transfer or self-driving takes about three hours and is the fastest and most convenient way to travel between Phuket and Khao Sok. Public transportation can take up to 4 hours.
Getting from Krabi to Khao Sok
A medium-sized, international airport, Krabi International Airport has non-stop passenger flights scheduled to 11 destinations in 6 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Norway, China, and UAE. At present, there are 4 domestic flights to Krabi from Chiang Mai and Bangkok. From Krabi, you can access popular tourist areas like Ao Nang, Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi.
Travel time from Krabi to Khao Sok takes approximately 2.5 hours. There is no direct public transit option for the Krabi-Khao Sok journey. The best hassle-free solution is to book a private transfer with us.
Getting from The Islands to Khao Sok
If you’re traveling from Koh Tao/Koh Phangan/Koh Samui, you can book the ferry service via your accommodation on those islands. We can arrange private transfers to pick you up from any piers in Surat Thani.
If you’re coming from Koh Phi Phi, take a boat to either Phuket or Krabi pier. We will provide private transfers from either one of these two piers.
From Koh Lanta, we can send our private transfer to pick you up from the hotel on the Lanta Islands.
Getting from Surathani to Khao Sok
The closest transport hub to Khao Sok is Surat Thani. Although there is a public van service from the airport to Khao Sok, the service is irregular and unpredictable. Private transfers take approximately 2 hours and offer the greatest convenience.Full Details
